Help Employment assists participants to obtain employment related skills and secure sustainable employment. It comprises Job Service Australia, Disability Employment Services (DES) as well as Mental Health Integrated Employment Programs.

As a Disability Employment Services (DES) Coach you will provide mentoring and support to a caseload of jobseekers, and develop tailored individualised plans that assist them to gain successful, meaningful and sustainable employment. In this role you will have the ability to engage with clients, and provide them with advice, guidance and assistance in their employment preparation. You will liaise and negotiate with other organisations including employers on behalf of our clients; for the purpose of marketing or other employment focused activities as needed. 

This role will be based in our Maroochydore site. The successful applicant must be willing to work from our outreach sites (Noosaville, Nambour, Caloundra and Maleny) as needed. 

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service and sales role 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills 
  • Flexibility to meet and manage challenges 
  • Confidence to canvas and market clients 
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative 
  • Excellent administration and computer skills 
  • Demonstrated drive to meet targets 
  • Current unrestricted Drivers Licence
