We're excited to be partnering with this growing Australian charity to find an exceptional content specialist to bring their ambitious content goals to life!

About the opportunity

The purpose of this role is to build, educate and inspire our community through exceptional content and digital engagement.

Working in a team of 7 and reporting to the General Manager of Marketing and Communications, you'll be responsible for:

  • creating visual, video and written content that tells the stories of our clients and supporters (for use on our website, social media channels, email comms and in the media)
  • ideating creative and effective content to build brand and key leadership profiles
  • interviewing and collecting stories from our community
  • working with subject-matter experts to produce thought leadership content
  • owning the content production and publishing calendars
  • working with your colleagues to across the organisation
  • analysing and reporting on content performance and acting on insights
  • briefing and working with videographers, designers and our PR agency, as required.

About you

You’re an experienced and passionate content creator looking for an opportunity to bring your skills to a high-impact not for profit organisation.

You have an excellent understanding of content and how it works across each different channel.

A natural communicator, relationship builder and storyteller; you also have the sensitivity, empathy and emotional resilience to be able to work directly with people going through trauma.

We’d love you to bring:

  • at least 2 years experience in creating content in a variety of formats and for multiple platforms
  • exceptional written communication and storytelling skills
  • a creative mindset and ability to ideate content ideas based on insights and goals
  • amazing attention to detail
  • an ability to use required tools to create and present content including web CMS, design software and EDM platforms
