This Darwin based position will support Healthy Living NT in our ongoing capability and capacity development to better support First Nations people.

In coordination with other members of the education and multidisciplinary team, as an experienced Aboriginal Health Practitioner, deliver evidence-based diabetes prevention and self-management information and education primarily to members of the Indigenous health workforce across the Northern Territory and other related health promotion activities.

The purpose of the position is to provide education, information and support through the delivery of activities and educational programs focusing on prevention and management of diabetes for people with diabetes, health professionals and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
