Pomona is located around 135 kilometres north of Brisbane and is an approximate 30 minute drive from the beachfront at Noosa Heads and 45 minute drive to Maroochydore. Pomona is located at the base of Mount Cooroora at the northern end of the Sunshine Coast and it is within the local government area of Shire of Noosa. The township of Pomona sits adjacent to Tuchekoi National Park and is surrounded by residential acreage properties and small farms. There are a variety of local shops, cafes, a couple of garages, a primary school, high school and an art centre. Pomona is a very friendly community based township.
This practice is a purpose built four consulting room practice. There is a three bed treatment room, a chronic disease nurses room, both inside and outside patient waiting area. QML pathology have a collection site and are open three mornings a week. Lovely support staff with excellent receptionist, a Practice Manager, Practice Nurse and Chronic Disease Nurse. No on call or after hours. The surgery has mixed billing.
This practice is seeking a full time experienced General Practitioner to become part of a vibrant, friendly and caring health team. Must have be vocationally registered and have indemnity insurance. Remuneration is 65% of receipted billings.
