Marburg is a rural town in the City of Ipswich and a locality split between the City of Ipswich and the Somerset Region, both in Queensland, Australia. Marburg has a population of around 900 people and is 60km west of the state capital.

The Medical Centre in Marburg is AGPAL accredited. Their mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis & management of illness. We provide antenatal care, postnatal care, immunisations, chronic disease management, which includes asthma and diabetic clinics, mental health, and a number of allied health services.

Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents attendance at the surgery, and are at the direction of the GP.

We are looking for full-time or part -time General Practitioner who is seeking to make a commitment to our Group Practice. The successful applicant will need previous general practice experience with interests in general medicine.

This position is eligible for a scholarship or bursary for ongoing professional development.
