Gladstone is situated on the east coast of Central Queensland about seventy kilometres south of the tropic of Capricorn. It boasts a large harbour with access to all water activities, the Great Barrier Reef, Heron Island, Agnes Water, The northernmost surfing beach and 1770, the site of Captain Cooks first landing in Queensland. Population is around 30,000.

Cultural diversity is a result of our industrial nature of city where expertise is obtained from all corners of the globe. Private and public schooling is available as well as TAFE and campus of the University of Central Queensland is also there.

Position description:

The medical centre is a 37-year-old practice with an active patient base of more than 6,000. It currently has four full time doctors and has two full time nurses along with a supporting administrative team. Queensland Medical Laboratory has a collection room located in the practice. A podiatrist visits one day a week. A Dietitian and a Mental Health Nurse visits fortnightly. A Physiotherapy practice is located in the same complex.

We are looking for a full time doctor to join our practice. It is a mixed billing practice. The practice has its own current after hour arrangements. The potential doctor will not be involved in providing After Hour Service.
