About the location

Blackwater is well situated approximately 170 km west of Rockhampton. The beautiful Capricorn Coast is an easy 2.5 hours away and Emerald is within an hour's drive. The wonderful facilities at the Fairburn Dam - fishing, camping, day trips and the magnificent Blackdown Tablelands are just 30 minutes away with camping, hiking, bike rides and wonderful walks.

Supermarkets, schools and an assortment of retail shops are within close proximity to the practice. Blackwater is right in the middle of the rich Bowen Basin Coal Fields so the clientele is very diverse.

About the practice

The practice has been operating for over 45 years and is a privately owned family practice that is fully equipped and accredited. This practice specialises in Family Medicine and Occupational Health.

The practice is currently open Monday to Friday during business hours and Saturday mornings. No after hours work is required and Saturday mornings are scheduled on a rotational basis.
