About us:

  • Long established, highly regarded private practice in Kingaroy with excellent referral base, and a new satellite clinic which has expanded into Nanango
  • Recent addition of Exercise Physiology services into existing physiotherapy business
  • Physiotherapy team consists of 2 full time senior physiotherapists
  • Receptionists provide full administrative support and assistance with non-clinical duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, prescribe and monitor exercise programs for a wide range of chronic diseases, injuries, disabilities and athlete development client base
  • To provide individual rehab and Clinical Pilates services (assistance with training)
  • To provide community-based exercise programs such as falls prevention, low-moderate intensity exercise groups, Parkinson's Disease, Diabetes groups, Pulmonary rehabilitation
  • To work collaboratively with existing physiotherapy staff to ensure the best possible rehabilitation and health for our clients
  • To build relationships with local referral networks
  • Presentations at public health events may be required
  • To maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Demonstrate a high level of communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively with existing physiotherapy staff, and individually in the growth of new programs

Requirements:

  • ESSA Accreditation
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Blue Card
  • Driver's licence
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
  • Pilates training would be of advantage - training provided for the successful applicant
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and sharing knowledge base with physiotherapists on staff

This position may be eligible for a scholarship or bursary for ongoing professional development.
