Role Overview:

We are seeking a full time Psychologists, Social Worker or OT eligible for Medicare rebates to work alongside our headspace Rockingham and headspace Mandurah teams as a private practitioner. We require an enthusiastic person to deliver high quality and exceptional support to our diverse range of individuals.

All clients are assessed providing significant support from and connection to the core team. headspace Rockingham and headspace Mandurah are innovative places to work with many opportunities for learning beyond counselling, headspace Mandurah is located within the Australian first, integrated peel health hub.

Based in one of headspace offices your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering consistent high quality psychology and coaching services to our varied client base with a range of health and management concerns
  • Growing new business partnerships
  • Leading and delivering evidence-based solutions to clients
  • Willingness to work with the headspace model of care and follow organisational policies and procedures

Essential Minimum Selection Criteria:

  • Full registration with APHRA with a Medicare provider number
  • Public liability insurance
  • Current ABN or willingness to obtain
  • A passion for building, maintaining and growing genuine client partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in counselling
  • Demonstrated professionalism and efficient time management
  • High level of written and verbal skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and
  • Working with children check
  • Commitment to supporting positive outcomes for young people,
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a team
  • Experience in planning client pathways including referrals

Desirable Attributes:

  • Recent experience providing mental health services to young people 12-25
  • Familiarity with Medicare billing
  • Have had exposure to developmental change, family inclusive practice and awareness of up to date mental health research and working with diverse populations
