Tell me about the role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy Impact and Policy, the Senior Policy Advisor will provide high quality, influential policy advice to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people across the nation and lead policy related projects as part of the Strategy, Impact and Policy Division in collaboration with headspace National colleagues. What we're looking for

You will have demonstrated experience in policy development, coordination and analysis including a knowledge of government and/or not for profit contexts.

Your written communication skills and ability to build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders are crucial. Knowledge of social policy programs and developments including youth mental health and policy and programs in the Australian context would be an advantage.
