About the role

The headspace Schools & Communities Senior Education and Training Consultant will implement a statewide training program of SAFEMinds for school staff across Queensland. The evidence informed training program is designed to build school staff capability and capacity to effectively respond to students with mental health concerns and develop their skills and confidence to identify, respond, support and refer school students.

Who we're looking for

You will be an experienced and qualified adult facilitator possessing considerable knowledge and experience of schools, youth mental health and adult learning.

A tertiary qualification relevant to either mental health or education and training or a relevant field or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience is essential.

This role will require online training delivery as well as some travel for onsite training delivery, therefore the incumbent must possess the willingness and capability to travel within Queensland regularly.
