Tell me about the role

In this role, the Project Coordinator– Benchmarking will support the delivery of the headspace “Network and Peer Group Benchmarking Project”. This exciting new project will involve network-wide engagement with the 110 headspace centres to establish and implement data driven quality improvement initiatives.

This position will work under the direction of the Centre Services Manager – Benchmarking and work closely with other teams across headspace National and key external stakeholders including headspace’s Australia-wide network of centres, services, Lead Agencies and Primary Health Networks.

This role will assist with internal and external stakeholder consultation in the design, testing, piloting and implementing of the project deliverables, including dashboard development and prepare and coordinate regular project communications and reporting.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic candidate who is looking to make a difference in youth mental health. You will be tertiary qualified in health and/or mental health, public health, health promotion or related discipline and have strong project management and coordination skills, with a proven ability to complete project deliverables on time and within budget to agreed requirements.

You will have a demonstrated understanding of, and/or experience in, performance measurement, benchmarking, data analysis and/or evidence translation as well as experience in implementing quality improvement programs and utilising change management principles to support a culture of continuous improvement. 

An understanding of the mental health service system in Australia and the delivery of mental health services also required and experience in the headspace network or other primary youth mental health service or network will be highly regarded.

Based in the Melbourne CBD, we offer a competitive salary plus generous salary packaging benefits and additional annual leave days. Remuneration is dependent on skills and experience.

This role is being offered until 30 June 2021, in line with our current funding term.
