About the role

  • The role will lead a project to build a framework for youth participation with school-age young people (primarily those aged 12-15 years)
  • You will engage with young people and other key stakeholders to establish a model to ensure lived experience voices of the school-age cohort can positively impact the work of headspace
  • This project aims to enhance youth participation with school-age young people
  • This role is part time and funded until 30 June 2022

Who we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Community, Health, Education, or a related discipline, or comparable levels of experience
  • Experience working within contemporary youth participation, student voice, or lived experience engagement models or frameworks
  • Experience in project planning, administration and delivery
  • Experience in the design and /or delivery of youth participation programs including organising and facilitating engagement events (online and/or in person)
  • Advanced skills in MS office including word, spreadsheets and database applications
