Established in 2006, headspace is a well-recognised national not-for-profit organisation making a difference to the lives of young people aged 12-25 years. headspace enables young people and their families to access information and support through a national network of centres and services and drives community awareness and education about youth mental health, early intervention and help seeking.
As one of the core streams of the headspace model, vocational support to young people is an important and growing element of the organisation's work. headspace Vocational Services support young people to reach their work and study goals in a holistic, voluntary and young person led environment. headspace supports young people to find and engage in meaningful work and study, recognising the intricate relationship between mental health and participation in education or employment.
An exciting opportunity exists for someone with digital engagement and project management experience to contribute to this important work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing online resources for youth, with a good understanding of the various modalities that digital content can be delivered. They will also understand the role that peer support and online communities play in increasing engagement within the youth cohort and be a champion of supporting young people to take control of their work or study future.
headspace is seeking applicants who have completed their tertiary qualification or relevant work experience in employment, education, youth work, health or a related discipline, or relevant level work experience/qualification in digital engagement/online service delivery or a related discipline as well as:
