Tell me about the role

The Senior Digital Systems Project Officer will work closely with the Be You leadership team and the National Support Team, to manage various digital processes and enhancements to maintain the efficient service delivery of the Be You Initiative. This includes management of the video conferencing platforms and internal headspace approaches and systems relevant to the Be You delivery. This role will support team information, technology innovation, effective usage and development whilst also collaborating with our lead contractor, Beyond Blue and Early Childhood Australia.

headspace Schools is a division of headspace that works with the school communities to improve the mental health and wellbeing of students, staff, parents/carers and the broader community. This division employs and manages staff that implement Be You in all Primary and Secondary Schools around Australia. The Be You initiative promotes mental health and wellbeing, from earlier years to 18 years; this program offers educators and learning communities evidence based online learning, which can be complemented by a range of tools and resources to turn learning into action.

Who are we looking for?

A highly motivated individual, with an experienced degree in Data Science / Information Technology services that has robust troubleshooting skills and the ability to multi-task with innovative creative solutions. You will need to have the ability to engage, liaise and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders and organisations, whilst also having exceptional time management and administration skills.

Demonstrated experience and understanding of providing services within a National program level is desirable but not essential. Maintaining relationships with external contractors and internals will be important, but also being able to work well in a team and independently, with a wide range of people from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences in a professional manner. Experience with providing specialist digital technical support including video conferencing and managing other platforms is essential as well as having a high level computer literacy.
