Tell me about the role

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the broader digital marketing strategy across all headspace digital and social channels to elevate the brand presence and awareness of the organisation.

Reporting into the Head of Brand, Marketing & Communication, you will bring a commercial lens to the remit by continually considering new ways of working, reviewing existing practices and bringing a “test and learn” innovation led mentality. All with a view to evolve the brand, and drive improved advocacy, mental health literacy and reputation.

You will drive the digital marketing roadmap and take a leading role in the development and execution of social and web content, as well as in the moderation of online channels and communities. By leveraging your past experience and by utilising insights and trends you will ensure the organisation is best positioned to optimise opportunities across multiple channels.

Who are we looking for?

The successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media or a related discipline, with 5 years prior experience in a similar role, two to three years of which will have been in a leadership/ managerial capacity.

We are looking for a driven, forward-thinking and strategic digital marketer who thrives in a fast paced environment, and has a proven track record in setting the digital direction of a large portfolio. You will have full accountability for the development, delivery, optimisation and evaluation of the digital strategy and activity across all channels. This role is highly visible and will need a best in class stakeholder manager to influence discussions and strategies at the highest levels across the organisation. Managing a direct report, you are looking to further develop your leadership skills, and enjoy working in collaborative team based environments. Experience in Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics and CMS platforms is highly favourable.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • An ability to ability to manage multiple large-scale projects
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills
  • An extensive background in digital marketing, within a customer-focused environment
  • Very capable with Social Media, Content generation, and website CMS management
  • A data-led approach, able to identify new opportunities or drive efficiencies using analytics and evaluation techniques
  • Management experience, able to lead and develop direct reports
  • Delivery focussed, not afraid to get your hands dirty
