Tell me about the role

headspace, as the implementation partner, will work with beyondblue to deliver an interactive framework of evidenced-based information, professional advice and support to primary and secondary schools. The Be You Program through continuous professional development of educators will promote optimal social and emotional health and wellness in schools.

An exciting role exists for an experienced and innovative leader who will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and the development, coordination and governance of the team's clinical practice, inclusive of the suicide postvention service delivered.

The Be You Clinical Lead under direction of the State/Territory Manager will guide and support the state/territory team in the delivery of the national mental health in schools framework. As required, the Clinical Lead will also participate in the delivery of direct clinical services.

Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Be You State/Territory Manager - VIC/TAS, you will work closely with the Be You leadership team to drive optimal service delivery and to ensure that schools receive timely and clinically sound support and assistance. This role calls for a responsive and highly motivated individual with advanced clinical skills within mental health and has considerable demonstrated senior clinical experience including the provision of clinical supervision.

To be successful, you will possess exceptional leadership skills, advanced clinical competency and be highly motivated to engage, liaise and negotiate with a broad range of health professionals and organisations.

Your personal style and highly developed interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders internal and external to the organisation, contributing to service development and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.

This role requires intra state and interstate travel.
