We are seeking a highly organised Program Support Officer who thrives in a public-facing role and being in a fast-paced environment with lots of variety. The role plays a valuable part in supporting a range of projects, as well as being the first port of call for people connecting with the Health Care Consumers’ Association (HCCA).
This role is full-time, based in Chifley, ACT. We may consider less hours (minimum 30/week).

Position overview
This role provides project, general and executive administration support across all areas of HCCA, working under minimal supervision to ensure the effective and smooth running of our busy team. A proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach is needed, along with a high degree of initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity.
A typical week might see you doing a range of tasks:
- Assisting with project activities and administration
- Assisting with planning and delivering a range of events, workshops and activities by organising advertising, managing RSVP’s, logistics and catering, liaising with speakers, consumer reimbursements and responding to enquiries
- Updating our website
- Collating and editing our fortnightly newsletter
- Creating marketing and advertising material
- Stepping in to help with projects and liaise with partners when required
- Attending workshops and events – this may include occasional after hours working
- Greeting visitors to our offices, responding to phone calls, and responding to emails through our main inbox
- Monitoring the supply of resources and ordering supplies to keep everything well stocked
- Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes
- Managing stakeholder contact details through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- General office admin including troubleshooting with tech
- Providing admin support to the Executive Director, including managing diary requests
