Donor Support Officer

The Donor Support Officer will support our Fundraising efforts with implementation of effective, consistent and best practice fundraising activities to achieve the objectives of our HammondCare Foundation.

More specifically, the Donor Support Officer will:

  • Ensure administration tasks and processes of our HammondCare Foundation are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Be responsible for donor relations and provide a positive and inspiring experience to new and existing donors
  • Respond to donor fundraising enquiries in a timely manner
  • Take lead on various fundraising projects and initiatives with time critical requirements
  • Ensure donor needs and expectations are met by proactively engaging with internal stakeholders

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Data entry experience
  • Strong event management skills
  • High level accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills including experience tailoring information for digital marketing purposes
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Immaculate engagement skills and the confidence to engage with different stakeholders

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with use of digital marketing
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Strong administration skills with moderate knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (particularly Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Solutions focused and pragmatic
