The position:

This role will focus on driving Zero Harm values throughout the organisation by developing and implementing health and safety strategic and operational plans, managing and driving behavioural safety change and providing safety support and advice to stakeholders across Harbison.

The supporting function of this role will encompass facilitation of innovative projects that support sustainability, continuous improvement, and strategic direction of Harbison.

The person:

  • Possess tertiary qualifications (ideally in WHS, HR or Business) combined with solid working experience of WHS compliance & risk management requirements in organisations
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organisation
  • Ability to work autonomously to determine an appropriate course of action, and solve complex problems to achieve organisational objectives, i.e., implement an effective risk management and audit program
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the knowledge & confidence to provide safety advice to a variety of stakeholders
  • Innovative and creative thinker who is solution focused with the resilience to turn challenges into opportunities.
