About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Acute Response Clinician to join our great multidisciplinary mental health team at GV Health.

As the Senior Clinician you will be responsible for providing a senior level of clinical community mental health practice within the Adult Community Health Team. You will also be proficient in acute assessment and response, case management and act as a significant resource in terms of the seamless transition of consumers along the mental health continuum of care. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

What are we looking for?

• Current registration with the AHPRA

• Registered Psychiatric Nurses must have a post-graduate qualification or equivalent in mental health. Psychologists must have current clinical psychology or forensic psychology registration with the Psychology Board of Australia Social Workers must be: eligible for membership of the AASW, OTs must be eligible for registration with the OTBA
• A minimum of five years’ experience in mental health for a Senior Acute Clinician
• Sound knowledge of principles and practice of psychiatric care
