About our roles

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Acute Response Clinicians to join our great multidisciplinary mental health team at GV Health.

As an Acute Response Clinician, you will be responsible for the provision of care and treatment to consumers of the Goulburn valley Area Mental Health Services and undertake consumer focused comprehensive assessment, including mental status examination and risk assessment. There are two full-time permanent opportunities available.

What are we looking for?

  • Current registration with the AHPRA
  • Registered Psychiatric Nurses must have a post-graduate qualification or equivalent in mental health. Psychologists must have current clinical psychology or forensic psychology registration with the Psychology Board of Australia Social Workers must be: eligible for membership of the AASW, OTs must be eligible for registration with the OTBA
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in mental health for a Senior Acute Clinician
  • A minimum of three-year post-graduate experience for an Acute Response Clinician
  • Sound knowledge of principles and practice of psychiatric care
