We have two key areas that we specialise in, services for people with no or low vision, and children across the whole broad spectrum of disabilities. Working within an interdisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals, this position provides Orientation and Mobility (O&M) services to clients with vision impairment. Working within a person and family-centred approach the Orientation and Mobility Specialist focuses on independent and supported travel for people who access VisAbility’s services.
This position has a key role in supporting clients who are blind or vision impaired across their lifespan. We work with all major funding bodies to provide individualised services according to client’s needs.
Travel and carrying out work from home is a requirement of this role as we service clients across the Perth Metro area.

Please note: this is a fixed-term 12-month contract, with the possibility to extend. Salary range is between $67,754 - $89,882 (exclusive of superannuation). To view our Enterprise Agreement for employment terms and salary information click here.
