THE ROLE

Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is looking for an Engagement Coordinator to take the lead on scaling up our engagement activities, and work with our wonderful Engagement volunteers. As Engagement Coordinator, you'll recruit and train volunteers to help in a range of supporter engagement activities, and will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing new engagement strategies to grow the number of GPAP’s supporters. You will also work closely alongside the Engagement Administrators to passionately inspire, inform and engage the public and GPAP’s supporters regarding our work to protect the planet, including efforts to retain supporters who are considering cancelling their gifts. Alongside this, the role involves working in our fundraising database to capture supporter details, as well as day-to-day administration and providing support to the broader Fundraising department.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re looking for someone who’s great at motivating and instilling passion in others, and at building meaningful long-term relationships with people from all walks of life. Skills in volunteer coordination or customer service experience are essential! Technical competency in Salesforce, Microsoft and Google Suites is highly desirable, as is experience with online writing and digital engagement.

You’ll also have:

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar role
  • At least two years’ experience in relationship management and engagement
  • Experience in administration
  • Fundraising and sales knowledge (desirable)

Salary $71,045.71 per annum + Superannuation
