THE ROLE

As the Engagement Administrator at Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP), you’ll be part of the team that provides positive, warm and informed interactions with our financial and non-financial supporters, as well as the general public. Your main objective in the role will be to communicate passionately to inspire the public and our supporters about GPAP’s work to protect the planet.

In addition, the Engagement Administrator is accountable for making every effort to retain donors considering cancelling their regular gifts, using the fundraising database to accurately capture supporter’s details, and handle a range of day to day administrative tasks, while engaging our supporters and assisting the broader fundraising team to function effectively.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

GPAP is looking for an excellent communicator, who is confident building constructive, long-term relationships with a wide range of people, both internal and external to the organisation. Fundraising and sales knowledge is also highly desirable, as is technical competency in all of GPAP’s platforms, including Salesforce, Microsoft and Google Suites. The Engagement Administrator will also have a demonstrated understanding of a variety of administrative processes and tasks, and a willingness to take initiative and problem solve.

You’ll also have:

  • At least one years’ experience in a similar or related role;
  • At least two years’ experience working in a customer facing or sales role;
  • Great communication skills via the phone, email, social media, mail and face-to-face; and
  • Experience in stakeholder management and engagement.

Salary $59,828.40 per annum + Superannuation
