THE ROLE

Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is currently fighting to prevent a recurrence of the summer’s devastating bushfires, push Australian corporations to switch to 100% renewable energy, and defend the Pacific from the effects of climate change.

We are looking for a quick thinking, driven and passionate Assistant Campaigner to join our crew and use their creative campaigning skills to respond to events like these, on a local and global level, in real time! In this role, you’ll be taking on a wide range of tasks, from developing innovative campaign strategies; creating diverse content including social media, videos and peaceful direct actions; conducting insightful research that helps us build trust with our network and supporters; strengthening genuine relationships with our allies and networks; and building and implementing a range of unique campaigns.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re looking for a passionate campaigner with a fantastic understanding of campaign strategy and tactics, both on and offline. You’ll also have skills in project management, development of project plans, and be great at liaising with all kinds of stakeholders. Most of all, we need someone who’s enthusiastic about creating impactful campaigns that get people engaged and wanting to take action!

Salary $69,516.35 per annum + Superannuation
