About the Team

The Greening Australia Foundation team is national in focus with our donors located across Australia and internationally. The team has been tasked to meet the financial targets for the organisation in line with the 2030 goals.

The Foundation team are based across Hobart and Melbourne with the broader Greening Australia team of over 120 employees located in 25 different locations around the country. The working environment is dynamic and fast-paced and involves engaging with a range of internal stakeholders in addition to our donors.

About the role

The Supporter Services Coordinator will provide consistent and solid support for the work of philanthropy team by providing great service to donors as the first point of contact, as well as efficiently and diligently managing the donor database.

Your role will be to:

  1. Deliver an excellent supporter journey through contact with donors to maintain and grow members and donors. Mainly via phone and email.
  2. Accurate data collection and daily management of Greening Australia’s Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system. Activity may include for example processing donations, issuing receipts, renewing memberships and regular giving.
  3. Undertake CRM reporting, analysis and insights to inform the fundraising program
  4. Work with the team to improve the CRM usability including application of best practice and documentation of standard operating procedures
  5. Coordinate DGR compliance reporting within state and federal regulations for fundraising
  6. Support event coordination for donor tours and prospective events
  7. Support administrative tasks for the team when required

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have 1-3 years relevant experience in managing a database and customer service and demonstrate the following specific and quantifiable skills:

  • Experience delivering a supporter (or customer) journey that drives retention and growth.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Experience in managing data in a CRM system including data analysis and providing insights on trends uncovered.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to accurately process data and meet deadlines

The role reports to the Director, Greening Australia Foundation. This position will be based in Melbourne with occasional national travel opportunities.
