Greening Australia

Why Greening Australia

We are the environmental enterprise that thinks bigger than the environment. We started conserving and restoring Australia's landscapes in 1982 and we haven't stopped since. At Greening Australia, we work on major programs that bring life to landscapes and restore balance to the natural environment in significant areas across Australia. Through our major programs, we demonstrate conservation on a massive scale, covering millions of hectares of land and protecting thousands of native species.

In 2018 we set our 2030 vision and impact goals which include the aim to plant half a billion trees by 2030. Proudly rooted in 38 years of history as a national not-for-profit, in 2019, Greening Australia took a new direction re-framing our brand as an environmental enterprise, a critical step in meeting our 2030 goals.

To achieve this we are on a growth trajectory to amplify our brand. Over recent years we have partnered with major brands such as Officeworks, Virgin Australia and Sukin Skincare, and this year worked with Triple J radio as their charity partner for the Hottest100 countdown listened to by over 34% of Australians.
