GreenCollar is the largest provider of abatement under the Australian Governments Emissions Reduction Fund.

Our clients range from landholders, research groups, non-government organisations, corporations and the Government. To give best value, we bring together an equally diverse and skilled team of scientists, environmental specialists, lawyers and finance professions.

The role

GreenCollar is looking for two casual field staff to join our teams working in remote locations across Australia. • Driving long distances and driving off-road
  • Equipment maintenance and calibration
  • Navigation in remote areas
  • Camping onsite project properties, often without running water, electricity or mobile coverage
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk practices at all times
  • Working closely with other team members for extended periods

Required skills and attributes:

  • Good level of fitness
  • Desire to work outdoors, to work hard, and to be accepting of all weather conditions and terrain
  • Unrestricted Class C drivers licence
  • Must be able to drive manual vehicles
  • Current valid senior first aid and CPR qualifications
  • A passion for the environment and sustainability with consistent behaviours to match
  • Positive can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work away from home regularly and for extended periods

Desired skills and attributes

  • Knowledge of Australian plants
  • 4WD experience or qualifications
  • Wilderness or Remote First Aid qualifications
  • Experience in similar roles
