The Role

We are currently seeking a Project Partnerships Manager to join the GreenCollar team. The successful candidate will work closely with Partnerships and Delivery to establish and maintain ongoing client relationships throughout the development and management of GreenCollar’s environmental market projects.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with GreenCollar’s project partners including pastoralists, land managers, farmers, the Clean Energy Regulator, the Reef Credit Secretariate and other key stakeholders across the business
  • Relationship management throughout the project life cycle, from on-boarding new clients and managing long-term relationships
  • Management of the project application processes including analysis of potential projects against relevant eligibility criteria. Coordination and support in the development and negotiation of legal contracts and other documentation
  • Coordinating project partners and others across the business to collect and track, compile and records information needed to successfully deliver GreenCollar’s projects
  • Oversee the development and management of GreenCollar projects and support team members in their project management
  • Act as a role model for positive interactions and ensures partner queries and issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Assist the Head of Project Partnerships to ensure consistent quality and continually improve client care over the project lifecycle
  • Project specific issues management and problem solving
  • Travelling to regional areas to attend engagement meetings, workshops, and audits
  • Represent GreenCollar at community field days, conferences, and other events sponsored by or involving GreenCollar

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated client services experience including working with internal teams and external partners to advance projects and create a partner-focused environment within the team
  • Proven relationship building and management skills and experience
  • Understands and anticipates partner businesses and identifies opportunities to meet current and future needs
  • Manages partner expectations and balances organisational needs. Encourages the team to maintain a focus on project delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience in coordinating collection of information from a range of sources and people and the ability to collate information in a way that can be communicated effectively with external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within designated timeframes
  • Acts as a role model for positive interactions both internally and with project partners
  • Monitors and consistently reports progress against targets
  • Experience with and understanding of agricultural communities
  • Experience working with CRM systems and project management tools
  • Superior work ethic with drive and passion for positive agricultural and environmental outcomes
