GreenCollar is Australia’s largest dedicated Environmental Markets advisor and investor. Our team works to understand the environmental values of the land and enable stakeholders to access innovative finance to implement projects with positive environmental and economic outcomes. GreenCollar is the largest provider of abatement under the Australian Governments Emissions Reduction Fund.
Our clients range from landholders, research groups, non-government organisations, corporations and the Government. To give best value, we bring together an equally diverse and skilled team of scientists, environmental specialists, lawyers and finance professions.
GreenCollar is looking for a full-time Field Technician to join our teams working in remote locations across Australia. Our field teams carry out monitoring and biomass surveys for native forest protection and regeneration carbon farming projects. There is potential for the right candidates to be involved in innovative projects as GreenCollar expands into new and exciting environmental markets.
We are looking for suitable candidates who will be involved in undertaking vegetation surveys, field testing and analysis, equipment maintenance and calibration, collecting samples and reporting on data. It is important that all applicants understand that conditions can be mentally and physically challenging at times due to weather and terrain, limited accommodation facilities (camping on-site), driving long distances and off-road, hiking through bush, limited communication in remote areas and close working relationships with other team members. Salary on commencement will be $55,000 per year plus superannuation.
