About the Positions:

We have a number vacancies across our Psychological Therapies and Complex Care programs in our Moruya, Bega and Queanbeyan offices. The Mental Health Clinicians will provide person-centred and strength-based support to people living with a low to moderate mental health conditions (Psych Therapies) or more serious and enduring mental health issues (Complex Care). One of the primary focuses will be on working with a person to identify recovery-oriented goals that will support them in their journey to lead a meaningful and satisfying life.

Both programs are delivered by credentialed mental health clinicians.

The Complex Care Program – positions in Moruya and Queanbeyan. The Complex Care Program works in conjunction with peer workers who work in partnership with consumers, families, carers and GPs to deliver high quality and holistic services. In addition, complex care program clinical care coordination is provided in collaboration with psychiatrists, GPs, the local health district services, and other mental health organisations.

The Psychological Therapies Program – Positions in Moruya and Bega. The Psychological Therapies Program provides intervention using the same principles of strength based, recovery orientated, person centred and administered through psychological counselling.

You'll need:

  • To be an AHPRA registered Mental Health Nurse, Aboriginal Mental Health Worker, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist or will be an AASW Credentialed Mental Health Social Worker, or be willing to work towards the same. Mental Health Nurses will either be credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or also willing to work towards same.
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services.
  • Experience in working with people with mental health issues and have a contemporary attitude and commitment to mental health recovery.

We have multiple part time or full-time positions available (days and hours negotiable) and the salary is dependent on qualifications and skills with $15,900 salary packaging available to increase your pay. Contracts are fixed term until 30 June 2022 with possibility for extension.
