About the role

We have an exciting new opportunity for an innovative and collaborative leader to join our financial capability team leading the development of Good Shepherd’s flagstaff program Firmer Foundations. While this program is currently only offered in NSW, a key priority for this role will be to grow the program nationally.

Firmer Foundations supports women to be more confident with their money through a strength based, trauma informed coaching program. The role will report through to the Program Manager Financial Capability and will have up to two (2) direct reports.

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Experience with developing or leading financial capability programs;
  • Qualifications in community services, project management, business, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience of 5+ years in a similar role;
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes in the delivery of services within the social justice and financial inclusion space;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the challenges facing low-income Australians and commitment to promoting financial inclusion
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination, or medical exemption
