About the role

  • Part Time (30.4hrs per week) 12 Month fixed term contract
  • Hastings & Narre Warren

This role will form a part of a broader team of financial counsellors and will work closely with the Financial Capability Worker to provide comprehensive service delivery to clients across the Inner South and South East of Melbourne, including periodic phone, face to face or workshop support to clients in Port Phillip, Kingston, Glen Eira catchment and Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia. Periodic attendance at broader agency functions and events will be required.

About you:

  • Must have obtained the Diploma of Financial Counselling
  • Have current FC Vic or equivalent state registration
  • Financial Counselling experience in the provision of intake, telephone triage, assessment and case work.
  • Demonstrated strong ethos and skill in working as part of a team
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain timely and accurate records
  • Experience working with clients who experience personal and financial vulnerabilities
  • A satisfactory Police Check
  • A current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
