About the role

  • SCHCADS Level 5
  • 2 positions available (1 x East Gippsland and 1 x Towong)
  • Full time, Fixed term until November 2021
  • Working remotely either in or close to East Gippsland and Towong areas requiring travel around the regions

The role of the Financial Capability Worker will be to provide financial information through budgeting, NILs loans and ‘Talking Money’ Workshops via a travelling Good Money Pop Up Store, in the Gippsland area.

About you:

  • Completion of a minimum Diploma level in Community Services, Psychology, Social Work or similar stream, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Completion or be willing to complete financial literacy units:
  • CHCEDU005 - Work with clients to identify financial literacy education needs
  • CHCEDU006 - Improve clients' fundamental financial literacy skills
  • CHCEDU007 - Provide group education on consumer credit and debt
  • A satisfactory Police Check
  • A current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
