Good Prospects Speech Pathology and Psychology is a reputable practice within Northern Adelaide and South Australian Country. We were finalists in the Telstra Business Awards (Social Change Maker Category) in 2019 and in the Top 25 Fast Movers, 2020. In addition to a 14 member speech pathology team across 5 locations, we have a Senior Psychologist with extensive experience who is able to mentor and supervise less experienced psychologists and two other provisional psychologists who are at the end of their 4 +2 and come with significant related experience.

The positions are full time and permanent subject to a 6 month probationary period and the salary range is exclusive of Superannuation plus a professional development allowance. We welcome applications from experienced Registered or Clinical Psychologists and those who are qualified to supervise provisional psychologists will receive preference. The salary package will be negotiated according to experience and those seeking part time work are encouraged to apply.

Our practice covers the full range of adult and child services including Disability and Mental Health.

Our practice is located in five locations in Northern Adelaide and South Australia (Prospect Salisbury, Port Adelaide, Gawler and Berri) and we are registered NDIS providers as well as having a strong fee paying cohort.

Strong, evidence based professional support is a key feature for all professionals working within the practice, whatever their level of experience, and a very strong team relationship is fostered. We are a highly resourced practice with a very broad range of evidence based assessments and intervention options including a broad range of technology. We are also now experienced tele-health providers so experience in this area would be looked on favourably.

The successful applicants will be seeking to work and foster their skills potentially with both adults and children and maybe someone who has a special area of special interest or experience.

We are a practice run by practising and 'on the ground' professionals, not business managers. In-house professional development takes place and clinicians are encouraged and supported to maintain their professional development through rigorous related professional development processes.

This is a full-time position although those professionals wanting to seek a work/life balance are welcome to apply for part-time work and this will be considered. Starting part-time is an option if this supports transition to the position for you.

We welcome applications from bi-lingual professionals as we operate in highly culturally and linguistically diverse environments. The successful candidates will need to be prepared to work out of any of our metropolitan offices. You will be collocated with another members of our team in different combinations depending on where you work on any given day

We are seeking people who are not only a good or potentially very good psychologists but the right fit for our team and have an interest and passion in working with people who may be vulnerable or socially disadvantaged

The right people will have the capacity to work independently some of the time but more importantly be a great team player. Time for paperwork is provided within the working day and time for supervision will also be allocated.

The positions will be subject to a 6 month probationary period with a certain likelihood of being ongoing after this period. We pride ourselves on being absolutely an equal opportunity employer.
