Go Goldfields is a place-based initiative addressing complex social issues in the Central Goldfields Shire, Victoria. The Go Goldfields Early Years Improvement Coordinator will work collaboratively to increase shared commitment to improved early years services accessibility, coherence and responsiveness to meet the needs of local children and families. They will guide the design and implementation of a coordinated network of community supports offered proactively to families, prioritising early year's literacy, access to services and social supports.
The Go Goldfields Early Years Improvement Coordinator will provides guidance and support to the Central Goldfields Shire Children and Families Partnership Group. You will work closely with the Best Start Project Officer to facilitate ownership of the shared agenda to achieve the outcomes as identified in the Central Goldfields Children & Families Partnership Action Plan.
You will have tertiary qualifications in either Public Health, Social Science, Education or equivalent. Ideally, you will have a demonstrated understanding of the early year's sector. Excellent facilitation skills, experience in managing projects in complex environments and using data to drive change are essential skills for this role. You will also work closely with a small team of facilitators to achieve the desired community outcomes for children, youth and families in the shire.
