About GOC Care

GOC Care is a Not For Profit community based provider of multicultural support services in Aged Care, Disability and other community programs. We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Officer to join us for a fixed term 6 month contract, working 23-30 hours per week. Day and times of work will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About the Role

You will be assisting the Quality Manager in the administration of the ongoing quality management system in relation to our programs and projects ensuring that compliance obligations are met. This role will support the organisation's delivery of high quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively assisting the Quality Manager with implementing our on-line database for the recording of feedback, complaints, incidents, hazards and audits.
  • Assist in ensuring certification and accreditation is achieved and maintained in accordance with GOC Care’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring standards of care and service delivery
  • Assist in the design and update of GOC Care’s policies and procedures

The Ideal Person

It is expected that you will have experience in a direct Quality role and background or knowledge of the Aged Care Community Sector.

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Foundation to intermediate understanding of audit principles and methodology
  • Foundation to intermediate understanding of quality management process
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience with QUDOS is desirable, not not essential
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with good time management skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positivity and enjoyment in the work you do
  • A National Police Certificate
