We are now advertising for the position of weekend Support Worker at Georgina Martina Inc, specialist family violence crisis accommodation and case management service.

• 15.2 hours per week – Saturday and Sunday shift (penalty rates and salary packaging apply)

• Role commencing end of May 2021

GMI are in the process of an exciting transition from a communal model to newly developed Core and Cluster model (one of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence), with new purpose-built facilities.

We will be experiencing considerable growth in client and staff capacity, staged over a couple of months. We require and enthusiastic Support Worker with a trauma informed lens and entry level risk assessment and safety planning skills to work weekends and provide support to women and children within our refuge who have experienced and are escaping family violence.
