• 0.8 EFT – some on call hours required and occasional weekend shift

GMI are in the process of an exciting transition from a communal model to newly developed Core and Cluster model (one of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence), with new purpose-built facilities.

We will be experiencing considerable growth in client and staff capacity, staged over a couple of months. We require an individual with extensive experience within the family violence and/or child welfare systems who can work alongside the leadership team to develop and implement a child cantered and systemic practice framework that acknowledges children as victim survivors in their own right.  

The Specialist Children’s Worker will work across both of new sites, one in the North East and one in the North West and actively engage and support all children within our service, alongside their Case Managers.
