GMI are in the process of an exciting transition from a communal model to newly developed Core and Cluster model (one of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence), with new purpose-built facilities.
The role of the Case Manager is to provide specialist family violence risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy and holistic case management support to women and children/young people who have experienced family violence and sought refuge in our crisis accommodation.
The successful applicants will work from a feminist framework and recognise family violence as a gendered issue that impacts significantly on women and children/young people, whilst drawing from other relevant legislations and frameworks to ensure systemic and strengths-based service delivery.
