About the Position

The position of Community Services Manager is a full time role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and has direct responsibility for all community programs including Home Care, Community Care and Disability Support. The role works closely with other managers and executive members within Glenview and has direct interaction with consumers and their families. 

The role is expected to build strong networks with a variety of external service providers and community organisations. The role is responsible for managing team leaders and program staff in line with Glenview’s Strategic Plan, program guidelines and compliance.

About you

Your management and industry-specific expertise should include:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar leadership role
  • A strong understanding of community services including Aged Care, In-Home Care and Disability Support
  • Strong business acumen, including the management of financial requirements, contractual arrangements and compliance and risk management
  • Proven ability to develop and implement contemporary Community Services business strategies
  • Demonstrated management skills and practices which engage and motivate employees to achieve quality services, meet targets, and improve and optimise services.
  • Proven ability to drive effective and innovative business outcomes

  • Demonstrated leader with high emotional intelligence
  • A dedicated client-centred approach and the commitment to develop and implement service delivery with this focus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner to diverse groups
  • Superior relationship building capability conducive to positively influencing others in a complex environment
