• Salary range: $78,000 - $85,000 dependent on experience

Gumala Investments Pty Ltd is the Trustee of the General Gumala Foundation (GIPL). The Foundation was established as a public benevolent institution for the objects of the relief of poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune or destitution of the Gumala Traditional Owners – the Banjima, Yinhawangka and Nyiyaparli people.

The Opportunity

As the Property & Tenancy Coordinator you will manage and maintain the housing stock that is held by Gumala Investments on behalf of our Traditional Owner Members. It’s an opportunity that will allow you to apply your experience in managing property maintenance and coordinating tenancy agreements, ideally gained within social housing or similar industry.

More about the role

• Manage tenancies in accordance with the provision of the WA Residential Tenancies Act 1987.
• Monitor rental and other payments
• Complete property condition reports and ensure regular maintenance is scheduled for all properties under management
• Maintain the property data base
• Develop and implement a property/asset maintenance plan and register.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating tenancy
• Experience working with Aboriginal Groups is highly desirable.
• Property maintenance and asset management experience (50+ properties).
• Problem solving and communication skills
• Experience working with contractors to ensure delivery of maintenance and repairs for regional properties
• Experience maintaining data and presenting property maintenance and tenancy reports.
