Primary Responsibilities:

The Gidget Foundation Australia (GFA) Partnerships and Community Manager role is required to support the CEO and GFA Organisational Development Manager, by building and delivering partnerships with Corporate Partners, as well as driving fundraising opportunities with community groups. This role will initially report to the CEO (until end of April 2022), after which time will transition to the GFA Organisational Development Manager.

The primary functions of the GFA Partnerships and Community Manager will be:

A. Partnerships

  • Working closely with current Corporate Partners to maintain relationships and drive deliverables

  • Collaborate with CEO and GFA Organisational Development Manager to build relationships with new Corporate Partners

  • Evaluate the benefits and risks of new partnership and referral opportunities

  • Take the lead on new partnership proposals

  • Manage day to day partnership workload

  • Work with CEO and GFA Organisational Development Manager to manage partnership agreements

  • Act as the initial contact for Corporate Partner enquires which come through the Foundation’s website

  • In consultation with the CEO and GFA Organisational Development Manager, identify and deliver a clear value exchange for partners and maximise broader fundraising potential

B. Community Fundraising

  • Work with GFA Organisational Development Manager to further develop the Foundation’s Community Engagement strategy
  • Act as the initial contact for community fundraising enquires which come through the Foundation’s website
  • Work with the Digital Manager to ensure community fundraising assets are accurate on the Foundation’s website
  • Work with the Digital Manager to ensure relevant community content is shared amongst the Foundation’s social media platforms
  • Build sustainable relationships with community fundraisers

C. Fundraising Support

  • Drive GFA campaigns, in particular Have a Yarn for Gidget and Bun in the Oven

  • Support with the management of GFA fundraising events, as required

  • Manage GFA’s presence at Baby To Toddler Shows (NSW, VIC, QLD), as well as nurture the relationship with organiser

Selection Criteria

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing corporate partnerships
  • Ability to manage time and deadlines effectively and to work within a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) is desirable
  • Be able to engage and build relationships with both Corporate Partners and Community groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
