About the role

The Multimedia Graphic Designer will design communication materials for Good to Great Schools Australia (GGSA) and be based in our Cairns office. The key responsibilities of this position include designing and producing an extensive range of creative assets such as graphics and collateral, alongside content for multimedia platforms such has:

• e learning suite 
• social media, including you tube
• website and teaching portal 
• microsoft office including powerpoint and word

Essential criteria

• Relevant qualification in Multimedia, graphic design, communications or marketing, or other relevant field and/or demonstrated relevant experience
• Experience using video editing and social media applications in a professional capacity
• Demonstrated experience developing and adapting styling and formatting to create uniform Microsoft Word and Power Point documents and templates
• Experience with website content management systems such as Wordpress
• Advanced skills in developing layouts and styles for use in MS Office suite, in particular Word and Power Point
• Demonstrated skills in the advanced use of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro
• Demonstrated ability to produce engaging and well designed marketing collateral
• Possess a Blue Card (or if successful provide evidence of obtaining/applying prior to commencement
• Evidence of a successfully completed Police Check
• Experience in photography production for image management and preparation of photography briefs and photo-shoots
• Experience in developing rich media content for social media, websites and EDMs.
• Experience in publishing, such as overseeing style and content of a publication and using desktop publishing or other publication-specific software tools.

Positions at Good to Great Schools Australia are subject to the successful candidate conducting a national police check and successfully obtaining a working with children (blue card).
