About you

As an experienced education professional, you will have a background in developing, presenting, and facilitating a range of high-quality educational activities. We are looking for someone who is confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels, including networking and influencing others.

You demonstrate:

  • Experience in coordinating and promoting programs and associated activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a high attention to detail and maintain accuracy, with excellent time management, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to consult, negotiate, nurture, and build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality improvement principles and practices.
  • Intermediate computer skills, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with the ability to learn and use new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to achieve project and organisational goals.

The opportunity

Through active coordination you will support and enable the delivery of high quality continuing professional development to GPs. You’ll do this by facilitating the development, promotion, implementation and evaluation of educational initiatives within the framework of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Locally coordinate the CPD Program to ensure its objectives are met.
  • Develop, implement, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure educational activities meet and comply with CPD Program criteria and standards.
  • Promote the CPD Program through liaison with stakeholders.
  • Manage the process of adjudication and CPD point allocation.
  • Develop, interpret and evaluate the CPD Program and associated policy.
  • Support GPs to meet their educational requirements within the CPD framework.
  • Support Accredited Activity Providers within the CPD Program by training Education Activity Representatives (EAR) and coordinating the Service Agreement process.
  • General administration such as arranging meetings and using customer relationship and record management software.
