AMRRIC (Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities) is a national not-for-profit organisation that works with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to improve the health of their companion animals. They take a ‘one of a kind’ holistic approach to human and animal health, underpinned by a deep understanding of rural and remote Aboriginal communities. This approach recognises the inextricable links between human, animal and environmental health and wellbeing. By working with remote Indigenous communities to improve the health of their companion animals, AMRRIC is helping to create healthier, safer and happier communities. AMRRIC is comprised of a small team of skilled staff who are primarily funded by government. The head office is in Darwin, however the location for this position is negotiable.

It is an exciting time of growth at AMRRIC and they are looking for a Fundraising & Corporate Partnerships Manager with proven success in acquisition, development and retention of strategic partnerships; as well as driving the expansion of fundraising capabilities. Reporting to the CEO, this role will lead the newly developed fundraising and partnerships strategy and long-term alignment with partners. You will be instrumental in the growth of fundraising and partnership activities including identifying, building and stewarding key relationships, presenting cases for support and compelling stories, ‘the ask’, engagement events, right through to acquittal process and reporting.

This pivotal role requires an understanding of the philanthropic landscape and broad knowledge across fundraising streams including individual donors, regular giving, digital campaigns, major gifts, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and community fundraising. You will be an excellent communicator with a collaborative approach and the ability to build rapport, trust and authentic relationships with AMRRIC’s diverse stakeholders.

You will be a passionate, committed and outcomes-focused fundraiser, and will bring creative and insightful thinking, strong writing skills, the ability to work independently and use initiative. To succeed, you will be motivated and organised with proven experience in this space, a growth mindset and aspirations to lead AMRRIC towards their fundraising goals to enable greater impact.

APPLY NOW to put your stamp on this newly developed fundraising and partnerships program at a unique organisation promoting health and wellbeing in remote Indigenous communities.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
