Good Cycles is an independent not-for-profit social enterprise that empowers young people who have had issues accessing employment by providing job opportunities combined with tailored coaching support.

More than just a retail store, we offer employment in a range of bike-based services as well as in horticulture and infrastructure/asset maintenance.

As a social enterprise, Good Cycles invests all our profits in the creation of entry level jobs and support for young people, and work in partnership with forward-thinking businesses focused on creating a sustainable city. Our vision is to provide young people at risk of disengagement with employment opportunities that improve their futures.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Controller role is part of the Finance and Accounting function of Good Cycles. This position will be responsible for budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting including month end and year end processes. They will work closely with the Head of Finance to provide accurate and timely financial data and strategic advice for the organisation, and provide guidance and decision-making in a number of key areas.

Good Cycles operates in a number of locations and you would be expected to visit key locations of CBD / North Melbourne and Sunshine West, in addition to the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
