The Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) is a not-for-profit organisation providing pound, shelter and veterinary services to the Geelong region. GAWS is recruiting for an important leadership role looking after the kennel operations.
The Supervisor - Kennel, reporting directly to the CEO, is a key role at GAWS to ensure business and operational continuity and 'role model' GAWS values and behaviours through leading and managing Animal Care Attendants and Volunteers. The role is diverse and integral to GAWS, and enforces policies and procedures to ensure efficient functioning of work areas. The focus of the position is to:
This is a permanent role with full-time or part-time hours (4 days a week) negotiable. Organisational induction, ongoing training and learning programs are available to support personal and career development.

Successful experience working in a not-for-profit environment with limited resources would be highly regarded.
