The Age Friendly Northeast Victoria Alliance is a growing network of organisations and individuals seeking to ensure the Ovens Murray area is a great place to grow old. The Alliance is a collaborative partnership using the World Health Organisation’s Global Network for Age-Friendly Cities and Communities approach to create an age-friendly Ovens Murray region.
The Senior Project Officer is a critical role, accountable for implementing the work of the Alliance, supporting Alliance members in their activities and building communities of practice. You will have the opportunity to be part of the international age-friendly community.
The Ovens Murray region is perfectly placed where the undulating plains of central Victoria start to rise towards the peaks of Victoria’s alpine country, providing lakes, rivers, mountains, festivals, food and wine. The region offers lifestyle options as diverse as its topography. Residents can choose between the bustle of regional cities, the charm of historic towns, and the serenity of hills and snowfields.
You will be part of the team at Upper Hume Primary Care Partnership (UHPCP), which provides expertise and technical knowledge to our partners to deliver integrated, responsive health and social care.
The position is based on 22.8 hours per week and can accommodate flexible work hours and arrangements.
Our staff are employed by Gateway Health. The Employment Application Process and Position Description can be accessed from the websites of both UHPCP and Gateway Health.
